Vision: Eliminate neurodivergent suicide and replace it with life by faith.

The Action Plan

  1. Teach life skills utilizing educational videos to combat deficits in neurological functioning and emotional regulation.
  2. Cultivate a haven for a hurting community through support groups, mentoring, and prayer.
  3. Share testimonies that display who God is and His desire to transform lives as we live by faith.

"Neurodivergent" = people with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and/or attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD)

What is "Neurodivergent"?

To begin, it’s important to know what “neurodivergent” means. Very simply, it’s anyone with an autistic or ADHD brain, and “neurotypical” is anyone without. There are three main areas where we observe differences:

1. How our brains perceive information through our five senses
2. How we react to that information in our thoughts and our feelings
3. How we then use that information in communication and actions.

It is important to understand these differences are not all at 100%, and function at varying levels.

What’s missing?
“Awareness is doing great on social media right now, but it is simply awareness: there is no support"
As of 2024, suicide is the 2nd leading cause of death for autistic people, and they are considered over ten-times more likely to commit suicide because of sensory burnout and additional neurological disorders.
The first question that arises is, “Are doctors helping?” Sadly, the answer is “No.”  Testing waitlists, on average, take 18 months to get a diagnosis and post-diagnosis support for adults is scarce in the medical world because there are essentially 0 adult practitioners for sensory processing issues.
Another question is, “Is the church helping?” but the traditional church is not equipped for people with neurological and sensory and social deficits. Typical church practices such as loud worship, bright lights, and hugging can even cause people with a different neurotype to leave the church and, ultimately, leave the faith, because of the lack of consideration.
Those living with autism or ADHD have been misunderstood and blamed their whole lives for having a different brain, so now, they don’t  trust advice from people who haven’t lived the experience--not family, not researchers, not organizations on their behalf.
How we’re different.
“The good news is that they want help. They want help from those who live in it and thrive in it”

Our unfair advantages are twofold: the first is that I, Jameson Healy, am the most relatable missionary candidate. I have Autism, ADHD, and have been an inpatient psych ward and attendee of over 500 appointments with dozens of doctors.
This is important because, the reason why even top neurodivergent ministries have consistently had trouble growing is that they’re missing something critical: being led by someone who is neurodivergent.  On average, channels and brands led by people who are neurodivergent get 7 times as many views and subscribers with less time and content than those run by people who are neurotypical.

The second advantage we have is the existing but untapped support in the church. We want to rally them by sharing our message at churches and asking them to simply subscribe to the YouTube channel and be the hands and feet of Jesus in a very simple and free way.
